Ange..

...I hope it works out we need him to bring the Japanese Striker with him !

We need to buy Maddison a Keeper another Striker and two CH's plus get rid of Perisic, Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Lenglet, Rodon, Sessegnon, Regulation, Lo Celso , Gill and Ndombele so a big sort out needed.

I hope this does not go like Nuno Espirito Santos !

Might as well get Rodgers in if you want a manager that does well at Celtic.

In fact, please get Rodgers in.

I second this. He’s always good for the first 2 seasons and has top 6 experience which seems very important to Spurs fans. I think he would do better at Spurs than Ange would.

Not a chance it will work out

Ange insist on total control of recruitment and levy wont give him that so i only see it ending in disaster
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if he was insisting on that he wouldn't be about to join
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Money talks it would be a massive pay day for him but he is an old fashioned manager that runs things his way or the highway
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If he sticks one on Levy he will get instant legend status, we know our chairman is a mega khunt that seems to go out of his way to stop us winning trophies.

He looks a bit like Poch ate himself, let’s hope he has some of his magic
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What magic? Remind me what Spurs won under Poch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Better remind yourself, Sandy, of what Spurs have won under any of their last 4 managers?

With Ange it does feel like we're getting a manager that one of the lower half clubs would get. Like you could imagine a Bournemouth or Fulham getting a manager like that. I suppose it's a statement about where we are right now. Won't exactly matter if he's a success though. But much of this hinges on how the club supports him.

He's obviously not up to the task at Tottenham. He'll be another Nuno. Nice guy in a nasty environment.

He would be lucky if he got a club set-up like Fulham or Bournemouth, Spurs are the perennial reality TV laughing stock of the league

No reason to automatically think he'll be another Nuno. Although I have sympathy for Nuno and don't even think he's a bad manager, just not the one suited for us at that moment. At least Ange is an attack-minded manager so already that's one advantage over Nuno. Fans and Levy may need to be patient with him though because it might not be plain sailing initially.

Was thinking more for the fact he may get spurs relegated in year 3.

@Fabrizio Romamo
Understand Tottenham have finally reached verbal agreement with Ange Postecoglou as next manager. #THFC

Been told it will be a two year-deal with an option included for further season, so potentially valid until June 2026.

Next step to get it done: find a way with Celtic.

=============

I give him three months and he will be gone.
