The owners of Newcastle, Public Investment Fund (or the Saudi Government) have announced they have purchased minority shares of 3 Saudi clubs.
The Premier League are looking at this announcement closely, as it could potentially mean that Newcastle could get very high profile players on loan without paying out for them in a fair and equitable manner. Plus the PIF do not have to satisfy Financial Fair play regulations for clubs in Saudi Arabia and can pay what ever they want to.
For instance Ronaldo is rumoured to be on £176m a year, Messi has been offered around £325m a year, both his and Ronald’s wages are tax free😵💫😵💫

Couldn’t they also send their carp players to those clubs for ridiculous transfer fees aswell?

Can't see anything coming of this. City Football Group already own a shedload of clubs around the world, and other PL and even Championship clubs also hold shares in overseas clubs, so why should Newcastle be denied minority shares in football interests on other continents?

Genius, The powers to be have to start clamping down on what is basically cheating. They could start with Man City by throwing them out of the Prem for their over 100 breaches of financial rules.
Snooker today handed out lifetime bans to players that were found to have cheated. Football needs to follow suit.

This won’t mean much. The PL should be looking again at the Newcastle purchase itself though.

The PL is close to breaking point now. All this is going to end in tears for sure and it will only make the ESL a thing again.
