Both picked up as in-form very talented youngsters, both left for bigger clubs. But here's one huge difference:
Bellingham Salary: 200k a week
Sancho Salary: 350k a week
Bellingham is actually the brighter of the two prospects (at the time of sale from Dortmund) so why on earth do we give such ridiculous wages?
Is it just that the Madrid name & recent success means players are happy to join for lower wages?
Sancho Vs Bellingham

But please see recent examples of footballers in Spain getting charged with tax evasion.

They did some hard time

Apparently Bellingham has registered himself as a football club in the Cayman Islands for tax purposes.

High risk destination the nut house that is Real. Disaster for Hazard, kind of mixed for Bale. Bellingham looks really talented. But so did Sancho.

The fee rises to 115m and Bellingham on 400k apparently. Seems like Spanish media that has the Madrid bias (is it marca? ) have been making a huge effort this last week to make out he is joining for 80m and earning half what he is actually believed to be earning π
Bellingham's father said he wanted 3-400 a week and I think that's a large part of what put Liverpool off.
Simply has to work at Madrid cos no one but the Arabs can afford him.if it doesn't!

I can't say I follow their every report, but I did have a quick browse through the main Madrid-reporting outlets and one or two Spanish broadsheets the day BvB broke the story and they were all quoting pretty much the same €100M/103M€ fee.
Curiously enough, the most exaggerated reports here regarding both salary and fee are coming from Liverpool fans.
You might want to ask yourself why that is.

Madrid's a nut house why exactly? They've made the ko rounds of the CL every single season for 25 or 26 seasons running. Semifinals or better in 11 of the past 13 seasons, and even won it in a supposed transition year.
If that's the kind of performance record you'd expect of a lunatic asylum, then what does it make everyone else?
It's a high risk destination to the extent that the higher up the ladder you go, the greater the risk. That much is kind of obvious.

Kinda mixed for Bale.
He won 4 CLs. Have any City players won any with City?

Not particularly popular with the fans, or other players. You do understand the word ‘mixed’ Sandy. But it did give me a giggle a Spurs fan crowing about City’s lack of trophies.
Madrid is a cauldron. I’m sure Bellingham will do well, but if he doesn’t they will be quick to turn on him.

Bollox that we don’t go to such creative lengths, it’s a much more ‘in your face’ style of cheating and disregard for the rules π
