The takeover hasn't happened because it requires approval by the EFL.

It's 49ers Enterprises buying the club. They are an investment fund. Which is why I find so surprising that people seem shocked that investors are investing in an investment fund making an investment.

I'm not sure what is unexpected about that.

I was specifically thinking about Larry Nance....but I must say I'm filled with less and less confidence the more I hear about potential owners who have never even been to a football game.

Do we get a Ryan Reynolds or a GFH?

If they were allowed to join the English leagues they should start at the very bottom and work their way up like all the clubs that are trying to do so!..

No way 2 clubs should be kicked out off any league to make way for anyone!..

Now we have three u.s. golfers trying to get involved.

I'd rather it was American golfers than Saudi or Qatari sovereign wealth fund investors.

Still, this will no doubt complicate the vetting process, so we can forget about a smooth and speedy transition.

Not ideal but not a disaster, like Bates, GHF or Cellino.

Mind, I'm not sure, are Millwall English?.

I'm all for rangers and Celtic joining the league, however it should only be at the first available slot in the footballing pyramid.
