Wasn't his release clause met? He's not representative of the wider football economy.

I think Chelsea fans have been slightly brainwashed by their stupid spending as to what actually is a proper value for a player.
Mudryk 100m euro
Fernandez 120m euro
Cucurella 70m euro
Fofana 90m euro
Koulibaly (31) 40m euro
these are not representative of what these players are worth and what would normally be paid for them.
Chelsea's saving grace may be that its Utd and they have a history of over paying, even in the face of little competition for the player, but you do get the sense that United want to do a fair bit of business, including a striker so Mount will not be their biggest signing and may be not even their top priority. If he had 4 years left on his deal they wouldnt be bidding, its purely because he has 1 and is therefore available and cheaper.

I like the bit where you decided to use euros just so the numbers could be a bit bigger

imagine saying havertz is a very technical player
Guys got the loosest first touch in the pl

To be fair nick your judgement on him would be better than mine as you watch him more than me and I’m judging his technical ability on when I’ve seen him play for Germany as not watched Chelsea much last season as you were a bad watch
Always looked skilful for Germany though …very neat and tidy
Still stand by judging any player at Chelsea last season would be hard
I just think he is better than he has shown …..lost his confidence at Chelsea …just look at Sterling …..looks terrible now but he isn’t though

Well i could have said Mudryk for £88.5m but Euros (which most deals are done in) gives the nice round number:

£88.5m @1.13 Euro/£ = 100m Euro 8.5 year contract His career has just begun and he has a contract until he's 30 !

Nitpicking Nick still got your head in the sand!
CFC have spent an absolute fortune , off the back of already making massive losses, players like Rudiger and Mount run down contracts, you ended bottom half, you had 4 managers in one season and your squad is so big you had to extend the dressing room The whole world and their wife know you need to off load players and wages . If you dont think other teams will look to take advantage of that then good luck to you!

You could have but it would be wrong unless you deliberately included all of the performance bonuses.
