Tillman is a good player but is he worth that much of our budget. Not for me this season, there are priority areas we need to spend on not on a 7th player that can play behind the striker.

If we had a good team and needed a number 10 then yes I would definitely sign him.

I think we've already moved on given the signings we have made, he's not coming.

Someone will get a good player though.

Im just saying that Beale and the player both confirmed in interviews that we wanted to sign him and he wanted to be here. Beale and the player also confimed that they were gonna meet to discuss it in more detail and Tillman said it was 50/50.

If I were to guess I think his agent has made him aware of what other offers are out there and interested that could pay more than we can and play in a better standard of league.

If they both wanted him to be here and we had the money he would be.

So one or multiple parts of that aren't true. It's no great loss, it would have hamstrung us in regards to making other signings.

Right player, wrong time.

that he is !!

as someone else said the better the likes of aberdeen, hearts and hibs can get the more it will benefit our game.

we could really do with those three clubs playing europe as often as possible so they can actually invest in themselves properly
