ROOOOT!

Just how good is this guy?best England batsman in the last 40 years at least.
looks elegant when batting.. Sandpaper Smith sometimes both of his feet are pointing down the pitch when hes defending. Horrible to watch.
Give me Joe Root any day

Cook is/was no way the same standard as Root

Cook had 2 maybe 3 scoring shots, he was very effective but he wasn't in Root's class

Root is on a completely different technical level. One of the best players of spin of all time as well.
