Third @ManUtd bid for Mason Mount, around Β£55m, expected. Club set to walk away from the deal if Chelsea don't accept. With a year left, United do not believe a Β£70m valuation is realistic.

Reckon we’ll get Onana, Mount and Kane this window

No chance of Kane imo.
Onana/Costa
Mount
Rabiot on a free possibly
Hoijland - right near the end of the window
Could do with a CB too but seems we’ve lost out on Kim to Bayern.

Donny, Cavani, Telles, Pellistri and Amad - they had near enough a combined contribution of fack all.

Those last two would be depressing signings

I doubt many of those were actually Ole signings.

I think Rabiot would be a sensible signing, much better player than the squad options we’ve had for years, and we need options not just a first 11. If his attitude was right that is. Especially if we lose McFred or half of it.
No idea about Hoijland, but there’s always something exciting about any new young striker being signed.
Kane would be the ultimate signing tbf, just can’t see it happening.

Other than Telles, hard to say if any of the others were his signings. Telles was always going to be a back up/competition. So other than the typical Robb hate and rewrite of history, I'd say Ole performed well that season considering we hardly mase any signings to improve the first 11.

To add Pellistri and Amad were signed for the future back then. They weren't even signed for the first team.

£20m in for Fred and Rabiot on a free wouldn’t be terrible business. Rabiot would undoubtedly want higher wages though, and probably make demands about playing time.
I don’t think swapping Fred for Rabiot would be a hugely significant squad upgrade, but at least Rabiot is a little younger.
You’d still want a better partner for Casemiro though really. He’d be another sticking plaster solution if we weren’t bribing anyone else in in the centre of the park (which if we were to sort out CF and GK properly this summer, wouldn’t be disastrous).
