Just listened to 8 minute interview with CS, really started the juices this one, really hopeful of a good appointment.

Gianfranco Zola for me....
Trust me......the football at the gate would change no end..

Im not sure about Zola Onefor, he hasnt had much mangerial experience and never played in a league like the Championship! I think Zola's success would all depend who his number 2 is!

I would prefer a tougher leader to come in.

After listening to Sextone on Player I think he/they are softening up the fans for another 'cheap option'.
1For - you wanted Di Matteo and now Zola. Whether they'd be good choices or not I can't see our board going for that type of option.
We'll have to wait and see who they come up with and keep everything crossed in the meantime.

Hi Redside/print

I agree Redside that if Zola was appointed that his number 2 would have experience of football in the 2nd tier.

Redprint....You are right, my first choice, back last year was Di Matteo and would be now if available, but can't see him giving up Chelsea for us..

And I think you're right I also can't see our board going for their type esspecially with SL not being here to over look it...... Can't see Colin seeing eye to eye with the little Italian!!

I really want someone in that has the love for good football and not all this kick a high ball to little Maynard nonsense..

I know the first thing we need to do is maintain our Championship status.....which with all the candidates in the running is all a bit of a worry and gamble...

Fingers crossed, they pick the right man for both.

-----------

Which surely rules out anyone currently employed by another club and rules in someone who is, maybe, short of options. All is all, it doesnt sound good!

If you want quality you usually have to pay for it!

It will be another cheap option, with someone from the dole queue, desperate for an income!

posted on 10/10/11

Ah if the Dole q includes those of us too disabled to do hard work that leaves me in with a chance then after all in my CV I have made BCFC European and World Champs in 5 out of 9 years and one Europa Cup on Football manager, plus 4 FACups and 6 League cups. LOL
