The path it is on is one to ruin.

I think the US has more expendable income than anywhere else doesn't it, or certainly right up there.

Interesting, I had no idea.

I just had a quick read about it, the first thing that struck me was that Russian Manchuria was popularly known as Green Ukraine, due to the vast numbers of Ukrainians who resettled there.

No idea of the region's demographics nowadays, but good luck to Russia if they have to rely on ethnic Ukrainians to try to hold onto it.

A third of the population, ffs The actual figure is around 0.18%.

And Russia (Gino coefficient 36) and the US (39) actually have very similar income distributions (World Bank data).

The US just generates an awful lot more wealth to ‘share’.
