What I really don't get is why City are bidding at all. Rodri just won them the CL and they picked up Kovacic on the cheap

Job done by City. They have Maguired you into paying more but unlike Maguire you are actually getting a good player.

Rice is an excellent player and good signing for arsenal

The price is just ridiculous though and pressure is on that he hits the ground running for them. No time to bed in.

I don't think its about final amount now, its about the structure of payment. £105m is enough...not even a penny extra on top.
