Worth watching for all football fans and what do we make of it. Seems like Man City are in big big trouble.
The obvious question for the PL is will they allow themselves to be bullied by Man City suits. With no statute bar limit and no appeal to CAS, it will be very interesting to see how the 100+ cases of impropriety will play over the coming months and years if not decades.

I dunno why you're proceeding with the idea you haven't cheated, Boris. If that's what you're doing. We all know you have just got away with it. Whatever. I'd prefer yous rubbing the league to Arsenal. But isn't it all a bit hollow? I guess that's why you can't admit it. Supporting City in any real sense would be hollow and meaningless. Like winning at monopoly by stealing money out the bank.

It’s all soft power play by the Emiratis and Saudis. It is image laundering to hide their weaknesses or buying influence in the west.

Day 1?
Seems there have been some strange decisions and behaviours long before whatever you percieve or define to be day 1.
In this article alone there are at least 2 possible examples that would be questionable today and yo might expect to have serious consequences.

It took a bent Tory MP to get Arsenal into the top flight in the first place.

Look, its clear they cheated FFP is not their fault. Its unfair for them it was introduced when it was and not earlier and FFP overall is unfair and designed to protect the established top clubs from competition its a farce when you think about it.
Im with Neville FFP should be scrapped anyway, so long as clubs can prove and guarantee excessive spending wont put club in danger of folding owners should be able to spend what they like.
However i dont think state funded clubs should be a allowed, sportswashing is disgusting in sport and any sport that allow themselves to be controlled by it is essentially dead in my eyes.

It was ignored by CAS not dealt with. This report coming to light is need information. Highlighting the corruption at the heart of the sport

The money was repaid before any contracts were signed once it was evident that ffp rules could been broken.
They seem to have missed that part out in the article.

I agree with just about everything you say though I'm struggling to understand the issue with sports washing. The definition seems to be using sport to improve the image of a country through investment in sport.
Has this not been going on for years and by many cou tries over the years. I know it's not the same exactly but isn't it not too dissimilar to the ffp argument in that it's something that its okay until others that have done it for years then all of a sudden it's not. For world cups in some countries like but not limited to Russia, south Frica, China, the USA, etc, in fact its why most countries apply to hold them surely. The Olmpics again most countries but one that springs to mind the most Is mid wars Germany. Horse racing has been heavily invested in for years as well as navy other "luxury" sports I the middle east.
City may or may not have broken rules and time will tell if they have but the rules will be there that have been evolved or to designed to protect the status quo. Change hurts and the established move heaven and earth to try and remain that way.
