Had his bail extended again

A year is a very long time to have something like that hanging over you and it's a very long time for the CPS to not actually charge someone isn't it?

There's nothing to stop somebody on bail from leaving the country, so long as it's not specifically a term of their bail conditions and provided that they can still be available to attend court dates or check in at the police station.

However, given he's being lined up for a sale to Saudi, where human rights are questionable at best, I imagine they might make it a condition that he can't go there.

In fact, if anything, I imagine he'd struggle to get into Saudi with a charge hanging over him more than being allowed out of the UK.

Add to the question the fact that the UK and Saudi Arabia have no formal extradition treaty.

I can imagine Saudi would welcome him with open arms as a top player. They seem far more keen to sportswash than actually ensure justice is served.

I think Partey has his day in court here and is acquitted though

others ignore it and try to get a title run
