Said last night that Rice to Arsenal was all done.
This morning he hasn't yet had his medical apparently.
More guess work from the fraud.
Romano on Rice

United have bought the generational talents and turned them into big turds. Pogba and Sancho.
Rice is a younger more mobile version of Partey. They are overpaying but everyone does, same for Mount.
Both will be good additions to the midfielders of Arsenal and United.

Ruined McT also, he was well on his way to being the next Roy Keane til United ruined him

McT at United is a big stiff idiot then he puts on a Scotland top and turns into Gerrard.
There's a player in there.

Imagine spanking £60m on this average player. Rice is a much better deal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You signed Havertz for even more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes, a German international player who regularly gets picked for his national team. Not our fault Chelsea played him as a striker. Go watch his Leverkusen days
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i see the narrative is already building with arsenal fans looking forward to see how this pans out

Rice is the player Utd needed, not Mount IMO.
A sign of the times that they don't get involved in the big deals and instead go for the cheaper contract rebel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, we’ve only only signed Varane and Casemiro and in the past 2 summers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2 x 30 year olds who no one else was in the market for due to their prohibitive cost.
The deals for the younger 'generational' talent ( i hate that phrase) that people have been fighting for - Bellingham, Rice, Halaand, Kane (2021) etc. You haven't even been in the conversation whereas you used to be the front of the queue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
However it turned out, Sancho was described as such.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. Pogba also who every big club would have taken at the time.
Varane was 28 and we are never going to pay Haaland 1 million a week without state backing.
Rice is a very good player but putting him in the generational talent bracket is a push. Mount has achieved far more at a similar age.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think those players plot the decline of domination quite nicely.
If Pogba was the hottest property out there right now, United are not the draw they were then (2016). Sancho was very promising but wasn't even the biggest signing that summer, Grealish topped that and City were also pushing hard for Kane.
Others are saying that Real Madrid are the biggest draw, so really you're getting their cast offs and kinda making my point for me

I think Havertz will do a great job at Arsenal.
I know most if not all slaughter him on here but I see him being very similar to Thomas Muller when he is fully developed.

we shall see.... I can see a player in there, I can see similarities.
I might be wrong, if I am I will come forward and admit it.

What’s Mount achieved? 1 measly UCL?
Rice was a starter for Eng at 2 major tournaments whereas Mount was a sub.
Rice captained a team that never wins anything to a title. Mount was a supplemental player at Chelsea during their ‘success’.
