Transfer Window so far...

With most clubs starting pre-season this week, squads are beginning to take shape. What have you made of your teams activity so far, and what other teams deals have impressed?

Arsenal - Not convinced by Havertz, certainly wouldn't have been on my wish list. Assuming he signs, Rice is a no-brainer for me, while Timber will add depth to the defence. I'll say it is a 7/10 so far, now to get some more players out and see what comes next.

Man Utd - Yet to really make a significant mark. Mount could work alongside Casemiro and Bruno, but the real issues of 'keeper and striker are yet to sorted. Not convinced by Onana, if he is the one.

Liverpool - Rebuilding the midfield was key, and they have got 2 good players in MacAllister and Szboszlai. With multiple options in attack, the next question is if one of Konate, Gomez and Matip can prove themselves as VvDs permanent partner.

Newcastle - Tonali is a bit of a statement buy. If he can form a partnership with Bruno G they will have a top midfield. However, I am not truly sold on the Italian. Will be interesting. They will be looking to improve the squad from here on.

Spurs - James Maddison is definitely the type of player they missed last season, with Hojberg their most creative midfielder!! Should improve them. No real idea about their new keeper, but they need to improve on the players protecting him or he will have no chance! They are rumoured to be looking at a number of CB options with a desire to sign 2. Of course, a lot of their window hangs on Kane - who I think will stay.

Chelsea - Nkunku was signed ages ago, but will surely improve on what they had last season. Less confident that Nico Jackson will prove a hit. With a lot of outgoings, they are surely ramping up for a couple more signings - midfield especially. They still do have an overblown squad though, so getting rid of a few more is necessary.

Elsewhere - Justin Kluivert is an interesting deal. He has had a nomadic career, changes club every season it seems. If he settles he could prove a great signing for Bournemouth.
Youri Tielemans has gone to Villa on the back of an awful season with Leicester. If Emery can get him back to his best it could be a shrewd signing.
Brentford have relied on David Raya a lot in their successful couple of seasons in the PL, so Mark Flekken has a massive task ahead of him. With Toney banned for the first half of the season, this could be Brentfords most difficult season in the top flight yet.
Brighton have added a lot of experience with James Milner and Mo Dahoud coming in. Joao Pedro, though, is the big money risk. If he can form a partnership with Ferguson then Brighton may have another good season.

There haven't really been any more deals done that have caught my eye, may have missed one or two though.

So are you happy with where your team are in terms of summer business, or is panic setting in?

You reckon a partey, havertz, Odegaard 3 would be played though? Not sure that'll work

Calls me a moron....uses your instead of you're 😂

You still crying people are still laughing at united buying Mount, and paying him 250-300k a week?

It's OK buddy. It's only a game. There's more to life than beating yourself up over rival fans laughing at United 😂

Maybe we should have paid off his "victims" like Spurs did with Bissoumas...

Anyway good article.

i'm very happy with chelsea's window. Hoping ziyech and lukaku are out the door too and i'ts a 10/10 for me regardless of signings.

We are not going to challenge for a while, so it's time to settle the squad and let the young players improve and shine. yes i'd like someone alongside enzo but do not want to pay the stupid money brighton want for caicedo.

We have casadie and santos and gallagher. give them game time.
