Starting 11

All hypothetical and plenty of business still left to do before the start of the season, but if we were to kick off tomorrow at 3 who are you picking from the players we currently have available ? Mine would have to be

Kepa,
Gusto, Silva/fofana, colwill, Chilwell
James, Enzo,
Madueke, nkunku, mudryk
Broja

Bit of a difficult one but I don't rate Gallagher, so would have to stick James CM, back to the wigan days, I can't pick between the experience of silva and the youth of fofana at CB so would probably alternate initially. In terms of broja and Jackson I can't say I've seen enough of Jackson but I like the aggression and power of broja up top, I think it could be a good foil for the guys behind him. If you have to pick today what's your 11 and where would it finish?

For the amount of money spent, that team is incredibly average looking.

Us, like utd, have sadly found out that cost does not equal value. Unfortunately for both our teams, the maguires, antonys, lukakus and havertz's have been a complete waste of money and time for the most part.

However, I think with our defenders, if any of badiashile, fofana or colwill reach any sort of decent level, our back 4/5 rivals any in the league.

With enzo we need a decent partner next to him and have a solid midfield.

Our forwards, as ever are a raffle. But we have good potential in nkunku, mudryk, madueke, jackson, broja and dare I say it...sterling

utd have spent an extra £150m more than chelsea over the last 5 years and we are looking to sell even more players before we buy. it's just a huge transitional stage for us so our team will not likely be tearing down trees any time soon, but there is potential there.

I think Antony will come good. I agree with the rest.

sub out anthony then for any of sancho, werner, kepa, wan bissaka (has improved this year) or whoever else then. We've just bought very poorly over the last few years. And mismanagement also.

It's why pep and city are so far ahead.
