Evening everyone!
On the website today it says we played west ham reserves and lost 2-0. Some of our first team players played as did other youth players. Anyone else think this is a bit of a silly thing to do? Gleeson played, Beevers played Doumbe and Morrison as well. It could be a good thing with fitness but surely the players are fit enough for a game after a weeks rest?
Hoping for some good results in the league tomorrow and Enlgland are now 0-2 up
Todays "reserve" game.

Nope if anything it's a good idea we've had 6/7 days since our last game and it catches up with you, each first teamer got 45 minutes so can't have been that bad for them, plus it's only a BCDF so it'd have literally been a kickabout on a big pitch to get them in the feel, no fast running or owt...

Good points there but they are pro footballers they just cant loose fitness with a week of not playing. I just thought it was a little strange thats all.

I believe the worry is that if they don't play regularly they forget how to, like England did in the 2nd half. At least Ronney's dad got a result.
