I must be missing something, I haven't seen or heard much talk of us becoming top 4. Anything is possible of course but I don't even know any Chelsea fans that think we will finish top 4.

Pre season might give us a glimpse of our potential, the start of the season always throws up some strange results but come end of September we will have an inkling as to what's in store for us. Until then it's anyone's guess.

I dont think its actually the expectation but the goal at least.

I think most fans goals will be top 4 with the bare minimum being a more structured look to the team and a clear direction of where its going and improving.

Of course, there are goals and expectations and they don't always match. You can add hope to, I hope for top 4, I don't expect it.

agree, with a couple of the right signings your capable of getting top 4, will require a bit of luck no doubt.

I still think you need another striker. Nkunku is a great talent but I dont see him as a natural striker to lead the line.

quite well at the beginning tbf. He was then way out of his depth at that level and injuries didn't help, plus no striker.

Our recent history has conditioned people to fear us when they feel their guard is starting to let down. I'd be the same if I wasn't a Chelsea fan, understand it completely.
