I kept saying it was schite and I’d literally quoted Stewart Robertson saying that before you’ve now googled. The fee was roughly 17.5m last year before tickets. The prize money in the CL is way higher. But clearly need to get points on board for that to come into play…

The fee for EL groups if we get to CL playoff is 7m, there’s a 5m parachute payment. Our coefficient would now get us a 2m + share. Tv/market share depends how many clubs from Scotland are in. Likely 2m at least assuming Aberdeen don’t qualify. Then it’s almost 200k a point. So get 10 points and you’re talking 13m vs 19m or so losing every CL game. So not that different right now.

Saying 19m this year in CL as we’d get more of the coefficient split as it’s over 10 years.

So total tv money comes from market pool - link refers to number of games impacting. Suggest you read that, what Rangers said themselves, what all press said etc.

You keep going on about extra tv, merch etc. all money comes from Uefa. And that is how it is split. I only compared total Uefa money from CL vs total Uefa money from EL.

I only differentiated on assumption we’d get through EL group.

We got 18m or so for CL from Uefa. Celtic would’ve got 28m or so. Difference down to coefficient

Like I said you comparing all the income garnered for the europa after at least 6 games and comparing it to the money brought in in prize money alone in the CL without playing any games.

If you go back I covered tickets. Expectation ticket money would be the same given there would be progress past Groups. My assumption on CL was based on this years results…. I.e we got no additional prize money as we got zero points, while we’ve got through EL groups last few years. So a clearly reasonable assumption.

Not sure what merch money you think comes from being in CL vs EL.

would be the same yet you never included it in the total amount eanred for champ league but did for the europa. and its not about the same, champ league tickets cost more.

You guys should take a course at The Kerrydale School of Accountancy.
Or even teach courses.

That’s simply a lie. I never included ticket money in either.

CL tickets cost more, but more games in Europa if we get through groups obviously….. so equal.
