Firpo to Galatasaray

Am reading that that club have made a loan to buy offer for Firpo and that despite the player wanting to move other interest has now fallen through with Marseille on the verge of signing Lodi from Athletico Madrid.

Given the history, would you consider this blood money, would you expect more loyalty from Junior or is it don't care where he goes, he just needs to go.

Can someone make sure he gets to the airport on time, please - it's a bit of a long way for me to come! Good news if correct - don't care where he goes, so long as he goes. Terrible, terrible signing.

no, get rid

Agree. Firpo's going to go down as one of our all-time biggest flops. And I hope he knows that.

What is it with us and LBs? We cannot seem to find a decent one at any price. Firpo is the latest in a long line of failures in that position.

Funny thing is we seem to be having the same trouble finding a playmaker to replace Pablo, a striker to replace Bamford, a decent CB..........

I think it's taken a few years but we've perfected the ability to not find someone suitable for a position.

Now we've proven that ability for left back, we're extending that to other positions in the team.

Its been a total poisoned chalice position indeed. The only decent ones ones we missed out on were Rico Henry and Robinson for Wigan imo.

Leeds should never do business with them. Firpo should go play in the Arab league.

We could have paid Alioski what he wanted to keep him on our books, but we paid a king’s ransom to get this lump of lard instead. Have we broken the world record for the number of duds signed up by Orta? And how much was he getting paid to take them off the hands of their clubs? I find it hard to believe Orta could find so many useless players unless he was deliberately targeting them, and taking backhanders so clubs could offload them onto us.

Best way to shove it to them is to hope Firpo joins them.

He fcked us. Why not them.

Batty we’ll probably never know the truth behind Orta’s dodgy dealings, but I agree - why would anyone with an ounce of football nous have splurged countless millions on players from relatively minor leagues to compete in the most competitive league in the world, without having an ulterior motive? Makes my blood boil that he never accepted any responsibility for our on-field demise.
