Now that takeover is formally complete, we all hope they can get down to business, play catch up and get us as ready as possible to season.
I'd said before I'd hoped they get someone on who knows English football, they've retained Kinnear, so he fits the bill well and of course completely knows the set up at Leeds.
He was the best of the 3 before for engagement with press, but he was also part of that problem regime, but at least 49ers not flying blind.
I hope that communication now improves, with some sort of communication about a plan, not just about the team, but also about Elland Road which has been left to deteriorate, whilst corporate hospitality has been an increased focus since 49ers involvement, and also TA and plans for moving training facility. Not the Jesse Marsch type interview about best academy in Europe in a couple of years, but the challenges they face, how they'll fix them and some sort of indicator re promotion, ER and TA.
I dont think we'll get it, but would be good to know how this investment works. If we dont get promotion quickly and minority investors who are all shouting from the rooftops about how they own Leeds and MOT, will they want to exit, does that affect ability to fund the club?
Club should know by now who wants to stay who wants to leave, so let's stop fanneeing around and split the training and be clear with pre season squads.
We brought in loads of players with zero experience of the league and challenge ahead, hopefully we get some more relevant experience, players with better fitness records and players who can score goals, I feel we've really missed that from midfield last couple of seasons.
We've seen some horror stories with American owners, look at the Glazers, and Liverpool a few years back.
I don't really like the idea of groups of investors, but have no problem if their aim is to make money but they run the club properly and one thing in their favour is some sporting experience to draw upon.
So right now, key indicators for me are:
Can they get rid of deadwood players, be ruthless if needs be
Can they engage better with fans
Do they really have funds to spend on players
Does Farke have proper control
So, what happens now?

‘Can they engage better with fans’.
On this one, I’d still like to hear something from them as to how and why they let themselves get into this position with 2+ weeks to go to the new season (however, I doubt I ever will). My reason is that it could help (me) to have confidence in their future decision making. Anyway, glad takeover is sorted and I’m looking forward to seeing how they settle the 1st team squad now.

It's a bit like when your girlfriend moves in with you. You fell for her sexy curves and insatiable appetites, but you are just discovering she can't cook a pot-noodle and she uses your toothbrush to clean the cat's ar$e.
It's probably best not to compare her to girlfriends of the past, to work through the challenges together, and to make sure the pre-nup is watertight.

As Paraaag said, they were ready to go for takeover in Prem but hadn't done any planning for that if in EFL, so isn that respect, their fault for not knowing and EFL process takes time, not EFL's fault.

Sorry to disappoint you, Jonty, my wife is not like that at all. She uses it to clean the dog's ar$e
