Could turn out to be an grade? I think if Spurs ever did get to another final, he would actually turn up.

He's banned from all footballing activity including training.

So he can keep fit alone but he can't actually play football at any level other than with his mates in the park. Not even allowed at the training ground.

he is allowed to return to the club to train in 2 months. But there is nothing stopping the club hiring a trainer or one of the coaches doing separate work with him at home, in gym the park etc. he will still be doing a pre season just now just like the rest of them.
