Really need to crack on now

So, two weeks to go until our first game of the new season. I’ve not been too bothered with the pre-season friendlies even though it seems we haven’t played that well … yet.

I’m more concerned about the state of our 1st team squad. It seems to me that we’re still several players (ins and/or outs) away from it being settled. Yes, I know the transfer window doesn’t close until the end of August, but I was hoping for more immediate activity following the takeover. It clearly hasn’t happened but Ampadu is looking like a good signing.

It would be a shame if the feel-good factor that has been created (Daniel Farke appointment, Paraag Marathe interviews, Ethan Ampadu signing) begins to dissipate.

I’d like Daniel Farke to be given the best chance possible to get off to a good start. Here’s hoping for a busy two weeks.
