This is pre-season. And we're trying to find our way out of the Orta sh 1 T storm. Contract minefield. I feel very
good about Hammond being in charge right now of
navigating us through this. So, why not feel hopeful?

As with everything, we only know what we know right
now. And frankly, the posters on here that sh 1 t on everything but still shell out might need therapy.

Just enjoy the hope. Yes, it kills. But, it also allows us
all to see the club in a positive light. If only for a short
period.

For me, the 49ers E, Hammond, Farke, Ampadu,
and Darlow, plus getting shot of Orta, Radz, and Orta's sh 1 te signings, is excellent. Get in a striker who
knows how to score and is reliable, not a human
sized biscuit, and we're odds on favorites to be
Champs.

Add to that, loans will be big for us under Farke.

And I don't give a fck about my line breaks.

Talking to a knowledgeable Cov and also a Hull fan and both are gutted we've got him

Has had a few howlers last few seasons but hasn’t been helped by how poor the midfield and defense in front of him has been

Let me get this right, you want to pay his 3 year contract up, and get no money for him ?

He shouldn't start for us, simply nowhere near good enough, I suppose by definition none of the GK roster are though obviously time will tell regarding Christie and Ombang.
So, as I doubt we will get any money for him, given the choice between him costing us more money sitting on the bench doing nothing or getting shot, even if that's for nothing do it.
Don't care how they do it, loan him out, let him go on a free, pay up the contract, do it.

That GK kit is shocking.

Sure we can all agree on that.

Sounds like you are blaming Meslier for all our goals last season. Did you not see the dross in front of him?

He’s a good keeper with lots to learn and last season will be good for him in the long term. A decent coach should be able to run it around for him.

Not as u happy about this as some. Not as happy about it as others. There are goalkeepers I'd have rather signed, and goalkeepers I'd have less liked to sign.

He's a dependable championship keeper, which is the level that we are at. Not necessarily going to be the best I the league, but could be up there. Should give us more money to spend elsewhere.

Are we going into the season with Klaesson as number 2 then?
