Byram signs

Another body for the season but how long before he is injured?

To be fair he has played very well in pre-season.

At least the club have been sensible to only give him a one-year deal

God Jonty, your pupils must love you, "why bother practicing your forehand you're cr@p and you aint ever going to get better". No wonder there has never been a Wimbledon Champion hailing from Croxley Green.

Can she play at left back?

So Farke likes to play players out of position, great.

Why can’t we ever find a reliable left back? Why’s it so hard?

Looking at squad, it’ll have to be a very weak league to bounce back this season. Very poor and underwhelming business so far.

We've gone from situation when Byram first trained with squad "to keep fit" of people saying hope we dont sign him, he's been crocked for so many games, to now justifying why its a good signing.

Smacks of Farke being told that more players going to be sold, we're not going to be splashing the cash, if you've got any cheap option ideas let Nick Hammond know.

I have no problem with managers looking to players they know and can justify this signing a number of ways, but you have to start looking at bigger picture.

Is Byram a signing people really thought would happen when 49ers took over? Is this really the calibre we were hoping for?

Pretty certain if you'd asked me whether we should be signing a player that Norwich didn't offer a contract extension to I would given a resounding no, but he can play in a couple of positions in the back and I haven't been convinced by Hjelde at left as yet (he's young of course). Given that our other options there are Struijk who was god awful in that position last season and Firpo, Byram it is. Not a great reason the best of several evils I admit but at least it's only a year.

Our other options aren't just Struijk though (I agree he's not a good option), there are thousands of left backs.

Just feels like we've not looked at any and just asked Farke for his advice on a cheap option and as per usual, over time, fans justify the owners modus operandi.

Public opinion was desperate for AR to go and 49ers to take over, finally wealthy owners who can get us back to Prem.

I doubt people were predicting our 3 inbounds as the level they were were hoping for.

I know were have till Sept 1, now only just over 3 weeks away, but we've put ourselves in a position where we're already playing catch up.

Same every season, fans can see it, pundits can see it, every man and his dog can see it, but those responsible at the club can’t seem to.

We need a left footed left back, no we need two actually. We should have 2 for EVERY position.

Still need:

Left backs
Centre back
Centre mid box to box
Striker who can stay fit for more than 2 games

We might have enough for this league with what we have, I really don’t know though and way club have gone about business doesn’t fill me with any confidence

Still a massive issue of injury prone players, most of them need to follow Adam Forshaw out the door at the next available opportunity.

Bamford I just don’t know how he ended up so badly injury prone, with shocking confidence when fans get on his back. Should be the best striker in this league hands down, but when he gets fit, he’s broken again within 90 mins, after missing an open goal.

We surely won’t see the same Stuart Dallas again if he ever recovers

Don’t get me started on Rutter, appalling signing, now injured

Sinisterra, most frustrating signing ever, if only we could keep him fit for a few games, but no chance. Another fantastic walking sick note by the master that is Victor Orta, the architect of our downfall.
