Mission accomplished

Farke has spoken a lot about creating a unity.

I think we saw that yesterday, we saw real understanding amongst clusters of players, Gnonto, Summerville and Sinisterra for example and we saw everyone giving best efforts unlike impression in preseason that some had of some players not looking interested.

Are they doing it for team or to enhance themselves in shop window? I'm not sure it really matters, but Farke said he wanted unity and I for one saw that yesterday, so for me, in the short space of time he has been here, with players moved on from under his feet and a lack of inbound players, I think Farke has done really well.

It's interesting that you talk of unity and yet we hear, Cooper, Harrison, Adams, Summerville, Gnonto, Meslier et al are all looking to jump ship.
Strange to talk of unity in those circumstances.

Where have you heard that Cooper is looking to jump ship?

As for the rest, I see loads of clickbait stories, apart from Meslier making some comments earlier in pre-season, I haven't heard anything from the others.

Can completely understand if players did want away, Gnonto for example for Italy changes, but I didn't see any of that on pitch yesterday, did you?

Team building is an interesting concept, yes Farke can bring in new ideas but teams are not created in any sphere overnight, the unity will also be down to people who have known each other a long time.

True, and the Cooper to Saudi is a clickbait rumour that was doing the rounds all last week.

All of the above have been said to be either looking for a move or on the shopping list of one club or another. I don't know if you watched the match on Sky or LUTV yesterday but the commentators on sky mentioned Harrison, Gnonto and Adams in relation to moves away. Someone here yesterday said Tyler was going to move this week. The rumbles are getting louder.

Yes and not easy to come in where there are established cliques or disruptive people or you bring in a bunch of your own players and then there is a divide, which is why I think he's done really well so far.

There were reports here and there saying Gnonto's agent is pushing for him a move and he's said a few times he ain't bothered if he doesn't get one!..

But like said, his Italian boss isn't helping matters much!..

In fact if it wasn't for Reading being deducted points last season, Cardiff would have been in L1 now ! It is a concern we nearly lost at home to them.

I feel the disruptive clique people are already gone.

Nah. First game of the year in a new league with our team not nearly sorted.
See where we are in a month.
My guess is we'll be near the top

A few years back over here Paderborn should have been demoted from the 3 liga to the amature league, but, because the team that was coming up was told their stadium wasn't up to standared, they kept their place in the 3 liga!..

Crap for the rest in the 3 liga because they went on to win promotion to the 2 liga as champions!..

Anything can happen in most leagues worldwide, but just because people think something should have happened, doesn't mean the team that had luck on their side will not come back better in the new season!..
