Will this be his season, or is there still to early for him?
That LW is Rashford bound, will Garnacho mainly be playing from the bench or what do you guys reckon?
Expect him to start against Wolves, but once Hoijlund is fit and running it's hard to include Garnacho in the start line up, isn't it?
Really feel he should be a starter, but maybe still abit immature and his performances are not stabile enough.
Garnacho

He’s got at least the first month as first choice LW imo as Rashford will be up front until either Hoijlund or Martial are fit.
Up to him to make himself hard to drop.

Can you imagine if Greenwood stuff would have never happened. We'd have a two potentially world class wide players under age of 21 plus Rashford plus £86m saved on Antony.
Oh what a mess you made Mason.

I say he's the best left sided player on the team!
But he needs to be an impact sub for us. In fact he may best serve us as an impact sub. 65 min sub who can torture fullbacks trying to help their attack. He's just unbearable by defenders at the end of the match.
Also with the new extra time rules we have, i60 min sub means almost 45 mins of actual playing time. Imagine him catch a defence at the 97 min trying to get a goal. I'm a bit wet.

I think he will start the season over Sancho (at least I hope so), with Rashford up front.
Apparently Hoijlund is out for a few weeks anyway?

Apparently Hojlund is just short of match fitness and is fine. Rumours are he will be on the bench Monday too so this injury can't have been serious.

Isn’t Hojlund training on his own though? No idea about the severity of the injury but if he’s not training with the first team then I can’t see him being in the match day squad yet.

Think this comes from ETH saying Hojlund would be in the squad once fit, no matter how little training with the squad he has had.

He’s only 19 so no need for him to be starting week in week out.
Last season we often didn’t see the best of him when starting games and he was better off the bench as an impact sub.
He’ll get opportunities from the start of some games and I’m sure if he’s outperforming the others he will stay in the team.

I really don’t rate Antony so if he continues to unimpress then I can see Garnacho making the spot his own
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right footed players rarely work at RW these days. When Garnacho played last season ETH sometimes move Rashford to RW to accommodate him so I doubt we’ll Garnacho at RW any time soon.

Seems bizarre we would offer our LW a HUGE contract when we had such a top young talent, challenging for the LW spot.
