Seems he was fit yet “unavailable" last night.
So either he’s basically sold or he refused to play.
If it’s the latter then please god we hold out for £30m and if nobody offers it then tough.
Play hard ball for once.

Not really any way back for Gnonto unless he publicly apologises and sends 1 month wages to local charities Other than that he is dead to me and should never be selected again.

Do we know that he refused to play or did the club make him unavailable because a deal has been agreed?
If all of this is based on Farke’s comments it could be either or.
Farke could be frustrated that the club have agreed to sell him.
Either way he’s not going to play for Leeds again is he.

Out of all of this, one feature stands out for me.
Farke.
His management of the situation has been excellent so far. He has refused to get involved at an emotional level, either to castigate Gnonto, or complain about players crying off. He has kept it respectful and professional. Can you imagine how JM would have handled this?
One thing is for sure. We have a tough match on Saturday and we need Gnonto on board. It would be a bad look for him to pull this kind of stunt again. If anyone can get him back in, to toe the line, and to fulfil his professional duties, it's Farke. He will also have to settle down any animosities among his teammates. Everything we have seen so far from Farke suggests he knows the best way to approach this.
Whether Gnonto stays or goes, right now, he is contracted to play for us. So let's see him do his talking on the pitch at the weekend. A winning goal would be a nice way to make his apologies and move on.

Everton have been told by Leeds that Italian striker Wilfried Gnonto, 19, is not for sale and are now on the cusp of signing 19-year-old Portuguese forward Youssef Chermiti from Sporting Lisbon. (Liverpool Echo)

Evidently he did reply to a fan who questioned him on social media with the words “not true”. Then he deleted it for some reason.
If he’s staying he needs to knuckle down, apologise and start playing football again like we know he can.

Apparently Gnonto’s last club has an “extraordinary high” sell on clause. If we might be struggling to make even £10m profit, what’s the point of selling him at all ?

I refer back to comment I made elsewhere:
Who has let public know about Gnonto situation, club or Gnonto (and he team).
Has Gnonto let press know he wants to leave, to maybe force a move?
He doesnt seem to have said anything publicly.
Have the club leaked it, in attempt to say he wants to go and se we need to sell him?
I dont know.
But if its true that he's been wanting move away for a while I dont understand why club has not therefore made best efforts to exit him and that does not mean playing him in first team ahead of someone else who needs to develop.
The only person I really trust here is Farke.
Club needed to have identified much earlier who is going, either through volition of Farke saying not needed.
Can't wait for this window to end so that we properly focus on getting on with things.

Gnonto said if a move comes along he'll look at it, but he also said he's happy to stay!..
Said that just after relegation!..
Like been said on other threads about other players, we're not as big as some like to believe, so, any Premier league club is a pull to any player!..
I wonder what would happen if Archie was sought after, would he want out or would he be scared because members off his family would be against it?..

Just seen club statement.
We paid peanuts for him, he'll be win peanuts.
His agent tried same sh at Roma with another player.
In this case, I would let him rot in reserves until he make s a public apology for his behaviour.
