One match ban enabled
Here we go again, another ride on the Wanderers wollercoaster as Julen Lo... sorry Gary O'Neill takes Julen Lopetegui's team up the M6 for a match day 1 Monday night football clash to thrill masses.
Can't think of another situation like this where one coach has prepared a team through pre season only to hand over to another to take them in to the season. Wonder why it's never been tried before?
Eric Ten Haag brought some silverware and champions league qualification back to Salford last season which will no doubt placate and delight the Premier league, FA and PGMOL. His squad has been bolstered by the arrivals of André Onana to replace the departing David de Gea, forward Rasmus Hoylund from Atalanta, Mason Mount from Chelsea and er ..Jonny Evans. Speculation over a move to West Ham for Harry Maguire is ongoing.
As well documented Wolves are skint after splashing the cash in January to ensure PL survival so the only summer addition thus far being Matt Doherty who's contract at Atletico Madrid ended in June. Some speculation that wolves still need to offload players in order to balance the books with Daniel Podence and Jonny Castro Otto being linked with moves away from Molineux, following Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins and Raul Jimenez among others.
Despite all of the boardroom upheaval, Wolves pre season form has been pretty good culminating in a 3-1 win over Stade Rennais.
Difficult however to see past a comfortable home win for the reds, although strange things can happen early in the season.
Goldi's prediction: 2-0

Almost everyone here, myself included, wants Silva in for Sarabia. So we know what that means.

He will say he doesn’t care which player starts as he is fully behind GON and backs his judgement and trusts him to make the decisions this great club of ours pays him to make, as that’s what a proper “fan” does who has supported the club for 80 years.

Tweedle dumb and Tweedle dee at it again. Do you think there will be a brief moment this season when you two clowns can discuss something without including me.
I've been advocating for Fabio not only to stay, but to start and also stated that Sarabia isn't worth his place at the moment.

Right that's just about everyone happy, harmonious and agreeing with each other, must be time for a new thread then chaps.

I would like to see Fabio start Saturday and Sarabia is the obvious one for him to replace. But I do think Sarabia has a big role to play for us this season and in the pre season game against Rennes he was one of our best players

Sarabia will have better games for sure. Think the issue with him so far is that we don't seem to have figured out where he is best.

Just read a good, informative article about FFP and how Chelsea, in particular, are by passing.
Although my understanding is a little clearer it still stinks.

I would prefer Fabio to start but don’t think he will.
I think we will be unchanged from Monday. 👍
