Coutinho money still going

I see Liverpool have pretty much signed Caicedo from Brighton for £110m.

Klopp keeping to his promise of not spending too much money on players and just dipping into their net spend account.

Crazy they've spent that much on a player that was available for £4m a couple of years ago.

Got to admire Brighton, they always seem to get decent money for their deadwood

He was top or 2nd in a number of key stats last season.
FSG have barely spent any of the cash the club generates let alone put their hands in their pockets.
Glazers get hounded constantly but they've always backed their managers each year with hundreds of millions. Arsenal and Chelsea have probably spent more in one window than Kopp has whilst he's been at Liverpool.

Mac and caiceido for 70m each isn't actually that bad when u look at modern prices. Brighton have the granules to scout well, buy and give them minutes when few others will do so.

TLDR he will still go Chelsea 😂

According to transfer market this signing would take Klopp to over 1b (euros) while at Liverpool. At one stage or another he’s had the most expensive keeper ever, most expensive defender ever, and now the most expensive British transfer ever. It’s a complete fallacy that he hasn’t had money to spend or he is some kind of magician working with peanuts against the cruel big spenders. Add to this that outside of Countinho he’s never had to get rid of an important player to generate money and it’s really not what’s it made out to be. However, what Liverpool have done is sold very well and got good money for players they wanted rid of…. which helps with the net spend trophy.

"If you bring one player in for £100m and he gets injured, then it all goes through the chimney," he said.

"The day that this is football, I'm not in a job anymore, because the game is about playing together.

"Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players. I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money.

Pidier cannot wait for the season to start.

But it’s £111m & £35m not £70m each

Garnacho, Rashford and Hojlund for £64m is great value then.
