Chelsea say he failed the medical

I've read that Adams already did his medical for the Chelsea move and that can't happen before payment terms have been agreed.

IMO, this is more likely to do with the Caicedo saga.

Can see him ending up at Brighton or Liverpool now

All very confusing on this one. Some sides saying the medical was complete but personal terms the issue. Seems strange to have done the medical before agreeing on this. Wonder if Chelsea backtracked on how much gametime they were offering him.

Others say he failed the medical. Entirely possible given his hamstring injury apparently relapsed earlier in the year.

It's not a great position for the club to be in if we need the money.

That would be poetic justice and some.

Need to sell Gnonto soon
No point in him being here now.

So Adams will recuperate, get paid handsomely, and once fully fit leave in January...that would be cold, unless we are mid table or worse.
