Veliz

Ange said they have been planning for Kane leaving for some time, so you would assume Veliz is the replacement.

I bet we don`t spend much more, the Kane money has already been spent and they won`t be throwing much more cash around.

Levy out.

As soon as I saw he signed a six year contract I thought he might be loaned out. Sarr signed for the same length.

But Kane leaving might means he stays. Hope he stays and impresses Ange or gets loaned out in Jan.

Richarlison will be the main number 9. If he fails, that will give Veliz a chance.

Depressing to think Richarlison will be the one we're going to try and replace Kane with this season. I can't seriously believe they bought him with that in mind though. He is nowhere near the quality of Kane and never was but we might have to accept that we'll be relying on him this season because Levy will be desperately hoping we can get by without a true attempt at a Kane replacement.

Who knows with Veliz but I guess somewhat encouraging to hear Ange talk about him like that.

I always saw Richy as Kane’s replacement - hence the £60mil. Such a bad buy - another Conte legacy? Or didn’t he want him?

Richarlison, given a proper run will score plenty. Bit premature to write him off before a ball has been kicked.

I am sure another striker has also been lined up as well.

I don't think we should read too much into that price paid. We just had our hands burnt on a player we thought would add quality to the squad. If anyone at the club thought Richy was a legit Kane replacement they need to not be working at the club anymore.
