We are haemorrhaging players this summer, thanks to relegation from the Premier League following a calamitous tenure of ineptitude as exemplified by our previous owners.
As bad as it seems, this exodus is coming to an end. How many more can we be expected to lose in this window? If they go, they will go for a fee.
Farke is happy with Meslier and his goalkeepers. If a bid comes in, it will be up to the club to deal with. The same goes for Summerville, Drameh and Rutter, none of whom have expressed a desire to leave the club - so far.
The situation is now firmly in the hands of the 49ers to deliver on what they stated a few weeks ago - namely a squad equipped to have a strong season.
I've no reason to think that Farke's concerns are not being listened to and there comes a point where the outgoings grind to a halt and we start getting bodies in to replace them.
As difficult as it is to stomach all this negativity created by the want-aways, I firmly believe that, as they say, it's darkest before the dawn. I pay little attention to the "reliable journalists", "reports" and "opinions" who and which in many cases just create news to suck the punters in. I'm more than happy to wait and see who the new signings will be once the club has completed the deals.
We need to keep faith because this fiasco will not go on forever. The proof of the pudding will be there for all to see on 2nd September and whatever the state of the squad is, it will be a lot healthier than it is now. Farke will demand no less and I expect the 49ers will deliver, be they permanent or loan signings.
Hang on in there - there's only so low you can sink before you start to climb out of the pit.

If we didn't have Farke I would be very worried, but he must have been told the situation and surely we will get a number of players in before the window closes.
Don't panic until then.

It's a noble rallying call Faith but there's only so many blows to the guts one can take before you say enough is enough.
I'm usually of a similar nature to you Faith in saying hang in there etc but unless there is serious transfer activity in the next few days with at least 5 new signings I'm joining the ranks of pitch fork holders as Lubo brilliantly put it in Jonty's Paraag thread.
My patience is virtually cooked and I'm not prepared to waste my energies and diplomacy skills on these new owners much longer.

I accept & endorse the positivity about Farke.
But even Don Revie wouldn't have got a tune out of the squad we have now.
