Hugo Lloris

Why is it proving so difficult to offload Hugo?

Lack of offers maybe, or the player turning down potential moves for whatever reasons. Surely he has had offers.

You would think he would be a prime candidate for the Saudi`s, a World Cup winning captain who is coming towards the end with still something to give at their level.

He would be ideal to help propel the Saudi league, give it exposure etc

It seems odd he is still around given that he has said he wants a new challenge and Spurs have moved on without him.

Maybe he doesn't want to go to Saudi. Being an alcoholic isn't ideal in Saudi.

Is that why he's been awful for a few years? Didn't know he was a pi55 head.

Don't you remember when he should have been locked up, but "rich man privilege" kept him out?

He's no such thing, he once had a few too many wines with dinner and got nicked for a bit of harmless drink driving. Hardly makes him Oliver Reed.

All a bit harsh when drink driving is a constitutional right in French culture <shouldershrug>

None of deadweight want to leave.

Hugo, Dier, Sanchez and Ndombele.

Bunch of parasites.

He apparently doesn’t have an agent. I’d imagine he would be pretty selective about where to spend his last season or two.

He's a keeper...

Hugo can just retire.
He's a world cup winner, and captain of the winning team.
Dunno why he wants to keep playing?

Lloris is one of the best keepers in the world. I am surprised he didn’t move from Spurs all these years.

United could do worse than World Cup winner Lloris as backup
