Our summer preparation was a bit of a shambles really. We probably took more flights than we scored goals and Ten Hag gave a lot of mins to players he wasn't ever likely going to include in first PL match day squad. Chasing money over getting the squad in peak fitness as ever from us.
Not surprising we didn't play well last night. Rashford looks well rusty, Casemiro looks overweight and like he's been on Copa Cabana beach all summer eating and drinking his body weight. Garnacho and Antony were embarrassingly bad.
I don't care about results in pre season. They mean absolutely nothing. The only objective for me is to get fit and on last night's evidence we have failed that miserably but thankfully got away with it due to Wolves poor finishing and VAR not overturning that pen.
Wish we'd pick one or two cities max and play a few mini tournaments in each one. Less travelling for the players and better quality of games hopefully.
On to Spurs. Let's hope we play much better than this one.
Pre seasons need to change

That kind of pre season is a big part of what fked us last season. We could never really recover from it and got endless injuries

That lifted through ball from Bruno opened us up. You will play much better than that this season and come away with nothing.

Woke up this morning thinking we'd lost last night. It seems we're just not ready, either in terms of fitness or personnel. First two away games could be a nightmare if we don't sort ourselves out sharpish.

They all looked very unfit, Shaw, Rashford and Casemiro in particular (Shaw actually played alright though).

Didn't Lvg complain about this years ago?

For the last 10 seasons, pre season has just been a way for Utd to make money for the Glazers. We have almost never gotten into rhythm till the first 5 League matches during this time. It is criminal for a club that should be aiming for the EPL title every season. Fack the Glazers, those !nbred b@st@rds
