That the penalty wasn’t given I mean.

If it was given you’d have all the usual suspects in the media questioning him and the decision to replace De Gea.

The narrative would have been that he cost United points even though the reality is if we’d dropped points our outfield players were to blame.

The poor ref decision will have been forgotten about well before him costing us a goal would have.

Instead he starts off with a clean sheet and a win.

Pen wasn't given by the officials so Onana not guilty of an offence. Therefore, a good performance. It'd be so unfair to judge him for a 'mistake' he wasn't even sanctioned for.
