Raya is a good signing -I wish Chelsea had signed him. He may even displace Ramsay as No1. But I think you still need a couple of other players. Getting him on loan is a masterstroke as you still have cash this transfer window,

The amount of injuries we get one of the keepers bound to get a long term injury soon. Excellent signing especially since we paid only £3m for a loan with option to buy

Is appearing in Eurovision?

Because some Arsenal "fans" on here are desperate to be negative about everything. They seem to hate Arsenal as much as a Spurs fan does.

I was hesitant at first becaue it's difficult to keep 2 good goalkeepers at same club without friction.

But given that this is a loan signing, I'm more than happy. See how it goes and if it doesn't work out then don't sign him permanently. At the same time this will keep Ramsdale on his toes.

I have no complaints, largely because I haven't heard him sing yet

Ramsdale is loved by the fans but ultimately Raya for a year for £3m is a ridiculously good deal with an option to buy for £27m or whatever it is.

I like Raya and at first wasn't supportive of us signing him for 30m as goalkeeper cover didn't seem a priority.

However, for 3m with a 27m option it's a no brainer

It's what I said. You still have cash to spend on more important signings and have a year to look at Raya and decide if you want him or not,
