I haven't watched a minute of the WWC, anyone I've spoken to about it, who have watched the games, appreciates the effort of the players but questions their technical ability, I'm agnostic as I don't really care.
That said, if the English women do the incredible and win on Sunday it will be a greater feat than the men doing it in 1966.
They will have done it on foreign soil, playing in different stadiums and (thanks to sanctions) without Russian officials assistance.

They’ve achieved more than the mens ever have. The mens have only made one major final these guys are already on their second. Just wish the pitches and the goals were a bit smaller to make up for the lack of pace and physical advantages. Technically they’re very sound
