Just how quiet the rumour mill has gone.
Prior to the Ampatu, Darlow, Byram and Rodon transfers, these boards were a twitter, the transfers may have taken ages to process, I have bought houses quicker, but at least they went through.
In other years we were linked with loads of different players some went through others didn't.
But I am hearing nothing.
This is of course, we are told, the way the 49ers go about the business but I am begining to get very concerned.

Kamara is the only concrete rumour. A player we could have signed 4 weeks ago but we're opting to save on wages it seems.

Of the four signings we have made, two have come basically overnight. Byram had been on trial so hardly counts. They are going to do their business quietly.
Also, not really sure what you're talking about, because I see us linked with two new strikers and two new CMs every day. LB is the only quiet one.

I find it better when everything is quite, than nobody jumps the gun and goes all crappy when things don't go how they think they should!..
Everytime we're linked with anyone these boards go into overdrive and when it doesn't work out the usual crap hits the fan and the stinky stuff flies everywhere!..
