We didn't get thrashed 7-0, but in my mind, there were many similarities last night with the Anfield cluster of last season. In both games, we were almost head-scratching how we were not in the lead after 30 minutes. Then something occurred and we simply handed over the initiative, which we never got back. Last night, I think that 'thing' was Bruno's awful miss. It really seemed to affect him. He was booked a few minutes later and then just disappeared.
At Anfield, Bruno lost it and with that the team disintegrated.
There have been many positives since ETH joined but I'm starting to worry now at how easily this team just seems give in and get dominated. I've been supporting United since the mid seventies. This has never been a trait until now.

Body language of some of the players has been poor again. What on earth goes on at Carrington?

Something called The Process, it’s a thing you have to trust in,

But when he spends most of his time posting on here, how is the process going to work?

Was worried for Process when Ronaldo left but he seems to be coping ok

Read something the other day about United playing the most pre season friendlies and how that’s left ETH with little time to work with the team on the training pitch - I think there is something in that.
No need to panic - United started last season poorly losing at Brentford and at home to Brighton, and then it clicked - you will be in the CL spots at the end of the season, I’m certain of that

Yes - but the difference is that this time last season, ETH hadn't had a year behind him.

I agree that no one should be hitting the panic button yet, but I'm not sure that the preseason issue holds true.
For starters, preseason games aren't games you prep for. They're essentially fitness/training exercises in and of themselves, so I can't see why that would mean little time to work on team shape, passing patterns etc.
Maybe the excess travelling between games played far apart geographically could eat into the training ground time.
But also ETH was basically playing the squad players a hell of a lot in preseason, so it's not as though the first teamers needed extended post-friendly rest to recover for training. Plus, that was ETH's 2nd preseason with the team. We're seeing more dramatic progress in playing style from teams who have had less time under new management/coaching.
I think the biggest factor in the bad stuff that we continue to see is that a number of our key players just aren't most suited to playing a possession-dominant style of football. Bruno, Rashford, Garnacho want to try things all the time. AWB isn't the best ball progressor, Casemiro can play excellent passes but is often sloppy, Antony is... something... and we haven't got that top level midfield conductor pulling the strings from deeper. Mount doesn't look to solve any of the problems we had in that area of the pitch other than being more energetic than Eriksen.

Also cfc and liverpool will be much better...cant see its finishing in the top 4, not with CL to deal with as well.

Joking aside Rashford has been pretty abysmal since about March. Looks like he’s not trying a leg.

"its" should be "utd". In which case it's a reasonable prediction.

Bruno is awful. Can’t hit a barn door.
And shouldn’t be anywhere near the team after the Liverpool performance.
