Just over a month ago I started posting about where's the action.
There's loads of time, not too concerned just yet, if we hold onto Wober etc we'll be fine....
More than a month later, with very little inbound activity, I think most of us now much more concerned.
With it so late in transfer window, what players are left available is diminished, clubs know we're now desperate and our bargaining position is reduced and players dont just come straight into team, so its still a game or two before they can have any sort of impact.
I thvgougt we'd retain more players, add to them and have great chance to go straight back up.
Now I think we'll be doing well if we stay up.
The bigger concern is what happens in summer. All these loanees will come back, wage bill gets nearly 30m higher and I doubt we'll be shifting many of them, whose value will have dropped further with a year off their contracts.
I am genuinely concerned for our medium term future.
I'm looking for signs that 49ers are backing Farke and I simply do not see it.
Every time he speaks he is protecting teh owners, its hard after relegation, everyone's working hard, I knew what I was walking into etc.....but every time he speaks he is also really clear, we need strengthening in every department, players were sold who were part of my plans, you have to invest if you want promotion.
For me a simple sign of if he is really being backed is whether we invest in a striker.
49ers will say, we have Bamford, Rutter, gelhardt, Joseph, Perkins, we dont need another striker.
Every man and his dog can see we need someone who can score regularly at this levels and we dont appear to have that amongst that bunch.
We get a striker in who scores 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 regularly at this level or just below, will be good.
We don't....then that tells you all you need to know about whether Farke is being backed or not and if he's not, then we have very turbulent times ahead.
Where's the action part 79

Feels like we're going to leave it all until the final week if the window. Just hope Piroe and Paintsil aren't the latest reruns of Che Adams and Dan James.
Disappointed we didn't get a lot more business done before the season started as we aint ready and have already dropped a lot of points, especially against 2 of the supposed weaker sides in Cardiff and Birmingham.

The league is utter garbage this year, half of teams struggling for any money.
Yet we’ve gave our massive advantage away.
Terrible ownership

Should have qualified that I have based my league position on both Cry and Gnonto being back in the team, or sold for at least half decent bucks, and at least a few loan deals done by next week, and the fact the bench can't remain threadbare, that would be complete madness.
Hang on a minute this is Leeds United we're talking about.

I think everyone who had optimistic predictions were hoping Adams, Summerville, Gnonto, Harrison, Wober would be part of the equation.

Tick tick tick, churchbells sounding and tumbleweed blowing across Elland Road is the scene at moment.

C'mon guys, cheer up ffs. Joel Piroe signing is just around the corner and maybe a stackful. I may be a cock-eyed optimist but hey, life's too short!

Ha ha maybe I was a bit premature. Get Piroe and his agent in building with thick walls and no phone reception.

Well it looks like Summerville, Gnonto and Sinistera are all staying. Get these other two over the line and maybe Kamara and it’s a decent window.

the players staying now doesnt make it a decent window after we've lost so many for nothing, that's likes saying Forshaw is like a new signing, its the reinforcements that we desperately need that make or break this window.
