Fair to say lady luck isnt with us right now.

Our new ST signing and finding out he's carrying a bit of an injury.

Both left backs out long term

Another new signing Mount out injured for 6 weeks.

Now Varane for 6 weeks also.

Not as thought Shaw, Mount and Verane as a stranger to injuries.

The issue is, we keep singing players who are prone to a lengthy injury or two a season.

Yes it will likely feel long. The only way that could change is IF a takeover happens and it gives us a huge lift.

My other main concern is last season. Despite playing pretty turgid football goal scoring-wise, I think we overachieved last season whereby this season we are unlikely to match it which then puts us on a downward trajectory again which has been our problem since SAF retired. One step forward, two steps back. I’d much rather us slowly, but consistently, improve. Momentum, which as United fans we know very well, is absolutely fundamental and we’ve not had that for ten years now.

There's no point in whining anyway. It's not like we had any serious claim on the title or the CL is it?

I think at best again it would be getting top 4 and maybe winning a domestic cup. It's hardly the end of the world if we don't do it.

The important thing this season is hopefully the parasites sell up. That feeling will be better than finishing top 4 and its not even close.
