With only a few days left of the transfer window let's have a bit of fun and name a few players we may get linked to/sign in a panic just to bulk up the squad. Here's a few of mine:
Kieffer Moore - we need a CF and he seems surplus to requirements at Bournemouth. He'd be home grown and wouldn't expect to start every game. Could be the new Weghorst but actually decent in the air. Would also be cheap.
Jamaal Lascelles - transfer listed by Newcastle falling his part in an altercation caught on film United swoop for him as cover at CB. He'll end up playing for most of the season!
David De Gea - when the transfer of the Turkish keeper falls through we sign the Spaniard on a short-term contract as experienced cover for Onana.
Amrabat - on loan probably because we're skint!
Jota - The Al-Ittihad forward, and former Celtic favourite, could be bombed out by the club to make room for more big name arrivals. A loan or cheap purchase could be lined up.
Sergio Ramos - because, you know, why not. If United are going to be hated then why not get one of the biggest out there!
