ZERO Need to Make 9 Changes

Morning All.... Would say "good" but its not . I wasn't gonna post about last night. I think most of us saw it comming from the moment that team was announced but I read something this am that drove me nuts !!!

"Every Prem club will make changes in this round and it is important that players that haven't featured as much get time on the pitch"..... This is totally irrelevant!!!!

Just because other team make changes doesn't mean Spurs have to. Spurs were the only PL team playing another PL team away from home in one of two competitions they have a realistic chance of winning !!!. With no European football this game should have been a priority. I guarantee you that if we had 3 league games in a week this early in the season, there's NO WAY He would be making 9 changes in the 3rd game !!

I love Ange, am delighted he's at Spurs and delighted with what he done so far in the league.

There was ZERO need to make 9 changes last night. He didn't learn a single thing. He knew full well that Sanchez, PEH, Davies, Skipp, Perisic, GLC, Royal, Scarlet, Solomon & Forster are not his best team. If they were they would have started Vs the likes of Brentford, United and Bournemouth. This idea that they deserved a start its total BS. We are 3 games into the season, we have learned nothing and have now lost our best chance of winning a trophy. We have tons of games to come where those still at the club can prove themselves either getting starts or off the bench !!

I said before the game, start the strongest team, try to win (No easy task against a good side..... I didn't see Paulinha from Fulham getting rested) and use the players we all know are nothing more than Subs as exactly that !!!. If we end up losing the game... So be it, we gave it our best !!! Last night, Ange didn't give us his best..... Half the bloody players in that team are up for sale FFS !!!!!!

We achieved nothing last night, Madders, Son, Kulu, Sarr all ended up playing anyway because the first half performance was totally shambolic.

Having a consistent back 4 and midfield is key when building a new team.... 3 or 4 changes would have been fine but 9 was utter stupidity.

I said it before the game, I'd have rather started full strength last night and tried to win. If we rest a few for Saturday, so be it.... It's not like are in a position to win the league, it just shows Levy's influence of prioritizing top 4 and then doing nothing to justify our presence in the bloody competition when we do get there.... I'm sick of it.

I'd have rather won last night and drop points on Sat.

If Fulham end up making to the later stages of the competition by getting lower league teams in future rounds I'll be furious.
