I don't get it!
When ETH started, we identified midfield as being a weakness. We were getting overrun. Pogba was lazy, Matic had left (but was past it anyway), McTomaney didn't cover the runners, Fred was too error prone. Beaky lacked the strength for the premier league.
A year later, we've added Ericksen, Casemiro and Mount. Yet, our midfield is still seen as our biggest weakness. I'm not trying to make a point. I'm just genuinely baffled why these signings haven't improved us at all and we're still missing Scholes and Carrick.
