Wolves march boldly on to South London on the back of successive victories and a flurry of late transfer activity to bolster the squad in terms of numbers, whether in quality remains to be seen.
A win, a draw and a defeat for Palace with just two goals scored leaves then ahead of us by a point. Our recent record in this fixture since 2018 has been patchy, five wins to Palace four to Wolves and one draw.
Selection will be interesting with Gary O'Neil employing a back three and wing backs in the EFL Cup win in midweek and with the arrival of Uruguayan centre back Santiago Bueno options are now available.
Similarly up front, Sasa Kalajdzic is looking impressive not only in terms of goals but also a very tidy footballer as he returns from his injury nightmare. Dare we expect him to start alongside Fabio and Cunha? Bruno Lage may have done but I expect Gaz will start the big lad on the bench.
Palace have signed Dean Henderson from Manchester United this week and will looking to hold on their most prized assets as bigger clubs come sniffing around for the likes of Eberichi Eze. And with a Wilfried Zaha sized hole in their forward line goals look to be as big an issue as it has been for us.
Wolves will be without Hwang Hee Chan and Joe Hodge, both hamstring problems and Daniel Podence unless he either gets his wished for move or is allowed off the naughty step.
Goldi's prediction:: cautiously optimistic 1-2

16 (over 21yrs of age) non home grown players, including Jordao who's been a regular for the U21's and hasn't featured with the first team squad.

Hugo Bueno will count as home grown when he has to be registered in a few years. He is a good one to keep around just for that.

Being reported that Wolves have already agreed a deal to sign Brazilian midfielder Raphael Veiga from Palmeiras in January. He had been linked with Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea this summer but has evidently agreed a deal with Wolves and Palmeiras have already signed his replacement. Let’s wait and see
