I think the 'love in' is people like excellent players playing for the club, even if that means he misses the earlier cup games and another ten games a season.

He hasn't played since April...and just 18 times in last seasons and he's not back training yet .
He has 2 goals in the premiership.....in 60 odd games
He has 4 assists ..just 4 in 3 years ....
He's 32 , and out of contract next summer (gone for nothing)..

That's facts ... .not my opinion

No-one said he was terrible..its just He can't stay fit for a full season (or 3/4 of one )

Goals and assists are not his game. When he plays we have a 90+% win rate. He has played best part of 100 games in three years, saying he's never fit is nonsense. Klopp wants him to stay.

Yes that's all great but he wasn't brought in for goals and assists. He was brought in to do what he has done excellently. He played more than 18 times last season, 28 in fact, so I'd suggest your facts aren't facts at all. Last season he was flogged to death due to issues in midfield. That won't be the case this season.

Thiago has seamlessly transitioned into the Keita squad role.

He does fit the style, our win percentage goes through the roof when he plays, and he is often is fit, hence him making 97 appearance in three years.

well, 65 starts and 6k minutes which is 67 lots of 90 mins.

so roughly 22 starts a season 22 games 1980 mins a season. Its not nothing but considering we've had like a 63 game season in there i dont think often fits right 1 in 3 games hes fit for?

Anyway see him talk to nunez before his sub? seems a leader and his quality in training will be good for the young players to learn from etc. Get 20 games out of him and he prob moves on for free unless he wants a coaching role or milner role with us.

Experienced pro , need to keep him I reckon 👍

Probably the best footballer in the league...I'd keep him all day long
