Ange needs another win today to maintain the good will he's begun with. The loss to Fulham and particularly the manner of it stung a lot of fans, and at a minimum we need to see that resting the first team was justified in terms of getting a league win.

I think we will win by a couple of goals, but Burnley are still a bit of an unknown at this level.

Even a win won’t justify throwing the league cup for me.

What is the actual point of being a football club? To come fourth and line levy’s pockets or actually add to our honours list and win something?

Until we put a trophy inthe cabinet on a regular basis we cannot call ourselves a big football club. A big brand maybe. But not football club

Maybe my wording wasn't clear. I agree it doesn't justify it. I'm saying at a minimum a win is needed to at least justify Ange's reasoning behind it. We're all annoyed at the amount of unnecessary changes, but at least if we win today Ange can say 'well that's why I did it'.

I agree. I'm going to give up trying to explain my point, I'm sure it's just me wording things badly.
