which.....?

Following the end of the transfer window we, predictably, have a potential defensive issue on the horizon.

we all felt there is shortage of quality, reliable cb cover before the window began. even without the new formation and the weakness that robbo has in that role.
Konate - quality but injury prone
vvd - has lost something but quite reliable fitness wise
Gomez - good on his day but which day each season is anyones guess. made of glass
Matip - past his best and not suited to new system. generally injury prone
Phillips - not good enough (now on loan)
Jarrell - promisiing but too young for more than occasional sub app

now with VVD out for at least one game, konate injured again, which of Gomez and Matip will be injured 1st??
as usual we have left ourselves short and made life unnecessarily difficult again
its so irritating
i dont know who to blame. is it Klopp saying no? is it FSG saying no more spending? or the useless german schmadtke(sp?) being hopeless?
