Hard to say at the moment. Lots of variables to fall into place before we can confidently say. However, not many young squad players out there better than Jones, Elliott and baj. Plus AMA and Szob already looking like they'll be class. So for me comes down to how good Endo and Gravenberch are.

That said, think there might still be room for a more defensive minded midfielder in the mix.

Im happy with what weve brought in. A centre half wouldve made it perfect but wasnt to be.

I do think weve left ourselves short there and now require the grace of god on the injury front, possibly the thinking is endo can drop back to cb if its really required but I dont know enough about him to say if thats the thinking.

Macallister really looks a top top player and szob has shown some real signs of promise. We also cant forget there was already plenty of talent in this team.

If this is "Liverpool 2.0" as klopp says it might take some time for it to all come together just as the 1st klopp team did but im feeling a lot more positive about things than I was a couple of weeks ago when we were in the middle of that caceido/lavia mess.

Get back in top 4 and maybe take the europa would be a great platform to build on for the future in terms of getting back to that level where we are pushing city.
